Suzi's Knits 2008: Knitting on the Run!
As you may have noticed, I have not really had a blog for a while. I'm resurecting it on a great site, WordPress, with a few changes. This year I have decided to run in a marathon, both for my own personal fitness and health goals, and to raise funds for AIDS programs in San Francisco. I will be supporting my fundraising efforts with a few knitting pattern treats: Mini sock patterns to match my full size socks! Until the date of the marathon, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the mini socks will be donated to the SF AIDS foundation. In addition, I will be donating $2 from every other pattern sold on my website to this effort, up to $200. Current store donations are $361.29 as of 6/11. My goal is to raise $3000 for the SF AIDS foundation, also including personal donations from friends and family.
